Dale Del Rosario a.k.a Dr. Joko started early as a tattooist. At only 15, he began tattooing to pay for his studies. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for him, so he pursued a full-time career as a tattoo artist at the age of 17. It was a self-initiated path for Joko as he was interested in the unique art of tattooing as a way to support his family and son.
From doing backyard tattoos to attending competitions and seminars, he found his way to Needle Z where he evolved even better as a tattoo artist. As a young artist, Joko's fave style was realistic colored portraits. Now, he's into black and grey style which he learned in Needle Z.

His style influences are Zenobite for the way he added colors to his pieces and Ricardo David for his masterfully crafted black and grey pieces.
Like other tattoo artists, Joko's goal as a tattoo artist is to recreate his client's ideas into inked art on their skin; and of course, to break the stigma that still surrounds the tattoo industry.
